Patrolman Chad Ernest Spicer Patrolman Chad Spicer joined the Georgetown Police Department on September 2, 2008. Officer Spicer was shot and killed one day shy of his first anniversary with the Georgetown Police Department. On September 1, 2009, Officer Spicer and his partner, Cpl. Shawn Brittingham, were following a car suspected in a restaurant shooting. After the car was stopped, shots were fired. Both officers were wounded. Spicer’s wounds were fatal |
